BIF Hydrocone Underdrain
All Service Manufactures the BIF Underdrain that consists of precast, reinforced concrete block units supported by concrete piers and grouted in position. The space below the precast blocks and between the piers forms the pressure chamber of the filter. Specially designed grout filled Hydro Cones are placed in the top of depressions in the blocks, which allow for the proper distribution of water. Various layers of supporting material are placed on top of the Hydro Cones followed by sand and anthracite.
